At the Beilngries site, around 360 employees in the Grain Quality and Supply division are dedicated to plant and mechanical engineering in the fields of grain processing and malting and brewing. This includes cleaning, drying, transport (including handling technology and ship loading), storage and digitalization to process grain from the field to the consumer. Always with a focus on efficiency, product quality and sustainability.

Tasks: With a dual degree in Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Mechanical Engineering (m/w/d) in cooperation with Bühler and our partner university TH Ingolstadt, you will find a very versatile way for your professional career. In the course of studies with in-depth practice, no vocational training is completed parallel to your studies, but practical phases are spent in the company during the lecture-free period. With this model you will experience about 50 percent more practical experience than in regular studies.

The course of study not only provides you with sound theoretical and practical basics of mechanical engineering, but also the necessary methodological competence to understand complex technical relationships. The focus is on engineering education - optimally linked to valuable practical insights into our company.

• Theory phases in the course of studies: lectures in mathematics, mechanics, thermodynamics and electrical engineering. You can set your own priorities by choosing subjects such as product development and production, mechatronics or energy technology
• Practical phases at Bühler: assignments in research & development, construction, quality management, supply chain management or project management
• Basics: Getting to know the basic engineering skills in mathematics, physics, mechanics and materials science
• Specialization: You gain specialist knowledge in design and development
• Methods & Implementation: Solution-oriented processing of practical engineering tasks, including through study and practical work and acquisition of social and methodological competence
• Space for orientation: You will pass through the departments of teaching workshop, research and development, prototype construction, production planning and manufacturing technology and thus learn all possible fields of application in which you could become active after your graduation
• Self-responsibility: From the beginning you can take over your own projects and work with other trainees across the training system, e.g. on a sustainability project

Requirements

• School leaving certificate: Abitur (general or subject-related) or Fachhochschulereife - ideally with the course Mathematics or Physics
• Interest in mechanical engineering: You find technology exciting and have good spatial and logical imagination
• Language & personality: good knowledge of German and English as well as openness to foreign cultures, teamwork and commitment
• Practice: You want to study and at the same time gain practical experience
• Digitalization & Passion: You want to drive our digital future forward
