Medical Practice Assistants - Job Advertisement The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the canton with a total of 1,000 beds. To complete the teams of the Pediatric Institute of Italian Switzerland at the Beata Vergine Hospital in Mendrisio and the Civic Hospital in Lugano, we are looking for a: Medical Practice Assistant (50%-70%) ##

• Profile
• The candidate we are looking for will work closely with the doctor and, together with the team of medical practice assistants, will handle the practical and administrative management of the pediatric outpatient clinic
• The person we are seeking holds a federal certificate of capacity as a medical practice assistant and has at least two years of experience in the healthcare sector. Additionally, they must possess:
• Technical skills for performing cardiological examinations (ECG, Cycle Ergometry, Holter, and blood pressure monitoring)
• Technical skills in small dressing procedures and vital parameter collection
• Technical skills in performing blood draws and injections
• The candidate has a natural aptitude for working in interprofessional teams and demonstrates particular sensitivity in understanding the needs of users
• They also possess excellent relational skills, empathy, listening ability, stress management, as well as organizational and administrative skills in managing the activities of the pediatric outpatient clinic
• The person we are looking for is willing to work flexibly between the Mendrisio and Lugano locations, and experience in pediatric contexts will be considered a preferential qualification
