Doctor in Medical Oncology - Ausschreibung L’EOC the multisite Ticino hospital is present with its institutes on the whole cantonal territory for a total of 1’000 beds.

Thanks to the commitment and expertise of more than 6,500 employees and their attention to the human relationship, EOC ensures quality health care by taking care of over 41, 000 patients who are deceased a year and providing over 600,000 outpatients.
The following position is addressed to candidates wishing to apply spontaneously to the medical Oncology service of the Italian Oncology Institute as a doctor in Medical Oncology Profile IOSI employs doctors in training in the department degenti in Bellinzona and in the 4 outpatients of Bellinzona, Locarno, Lugano and Mendrisio.
The Institute is recognized as a type A training centre for obtaining an FMH medical oncology specialist and is affiliated to the Faculty of Biomedicine of the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI).
In addition, the Oncology Clinic cultivates regular collaborations in the academic field with the Oncological Research Institute (IOR), the Biomedicine Research Institute (IRB), the Zurich Polytechnic (ETHZ) and the Swiss Research Group Against Cancer (SAKK).
In addition to the daily clinical activity, the educational offer of our Institute provides, with a close collaboration with the Hematology Clinic, a rich weekly training program with Journal Club, educational conferences and oncolunch.
The discussion of clinical cases is multidisciplinary and takes place within the numerous tumor boards that are held weekly and to which each assistant doctor is invited to participate actively.
The doctor we seek must possess motivation, initiative and spirit of collaboration.
