Role overview
- decides and manages the individual therapeutic plan for the patient according to the diagnostic and pharmacotherapeutic framework ensuring, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, the correct realization of the taking on the patient, as from protocol “medical responsibility and delegation” (I-298)
- provides and carries out specialist medical-psychiatric or pedopsichiatric visits, where necessary in collaboration with psychologists/hes, to/her patients ensuring the correct diagnostic, psychopharmaceutical and rehabilitation framework
- actively collaborates with doctors of psychiatric and somatic hospitals and doctors with private practice, in accordance with the medical psychiatric chief OSC service. In relation to the somatic care necessary for the well-being of the patient organizes and co-manages the planned somatic care
- ensures the FMH training of the Medici assistants and other public or public professional figures. It is required to update its professional knowledge in compliance with the provisions of FMH for the maintenance of the specialty title
- realizes, in accordance with the psychiatric doctor head of the OSC service, relations with other public and private structures that operate on the territory in order to create the ideal conditions for a network intervention
- assures the picket on the territory and/or the guards in cantonal psychiatric clinic (CPC) as provided by the “Regulation of OSC medical guards and spikes” (D-154)
- expounds psychiatric or pedopsichiatric medical expert to him/her entrusted and supervised by the department
- guarantees the correct editing of TARDOC and TARPSY performance
- FMH specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy (or equivalent title)
- clearance of the profession of doctor issued by the Health Office in Canton Ticino
