Tasks

• monitor the evolution of the situation of every young person in fulfilling the training obligation with a data bank and IT tools for managing cases

• hooking and taking charge of young people out of the training system without having acquired a secondary diploma II

• set, develop and control the realization of individual training projects of young people (16-25 years) in collaboration with other cantonal agencies and offices also with individual coaching activities to stimulate the personal initiative, motivate and accompany young adults to start or resume a training that leads them to obtain a secondary diploma II

• to activate and coordinate measures to address the specific needs of young adults after the assessment of needs and the definition of intervention priorities in the social and educational field

• provide support and advice to young people in the choice of preparation, in the search for an internship and apprenticeship and accompaniment during training, in collaboration with other agencies and offices (e.g. working with training, sociality and the URC)

• collaborate with the section, division and department to achieve the objectives related to the fulfilment of the training obligation

• process reports and statistics at the address of the section

• management of a database

Requirements

• academic or university education (bachelor level) in pedagogical/social or economical teaching or title considered equivalent

• professional experience in the field of social activity and accompaniment of young adults in situations of breaking of training paths

• self-employment and management of projects with a spirit of collaboration, availability to work outside the office hours, preparation for teamwork, management of small working groups

• knowledge of the network of social services and social inclusion in Ticino and the cantonal and Swiss training system

• strong social sensitivity, predisposition to intercultural relations

• excellent knowledge (conversation and editing) of the Italian language and good knowledge of at least one second official language and the main computer programs

Special remarks

• Article 15 and 16 GROSS duties determined until 31 December 2029

Conditions of use

• appointment or assignment: these are those provided for by the Law on the sorting of employees of the State and teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the relevant Regulations. Any amendment of the law concerning salary and organization remains explicitly reserved

• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment ratio), flexible or according to service requirements
