Job Description We are seeking a General Physician Assistant to join our team at the Canton of Ticino's Sociopsychiatric Organization (OSC) in Mendrisio.

As a General Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing medical and psychiatric care to patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, in collaboration with our team of medical professionals - Conduct medical and psychiatric examinations, as needed, in collaboration with our team of psychologists - Collaborate with hospital-based medical and psychiatric staff, as well as private practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in psychiatry and psychotherapy, and apply this knowledge to your practice - Develop and maintain relationships with other public and private healthcare providers in the region, to ensure seamless care for patients - Provide on-call services and/or guard duty at the Canton of Ticino's Psychiatric Clinic, as required - Prepare and submit medical and psychiatric reports, as assigned Requirements - Medical degree (or equivalent) - Recognition of foreign medical degree from the Mebeko Commission, Section "Formation" and language proficiency certificate (Italian B2) - Candidates in specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy - Candidates in specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy - Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a non-specific clinical training year, as per the FMH Regulation for Professional Development - Perfect command of the Italian language, knowledge of English and/or a second official language - Ability to work in a team - Knowledge of the Ticino healthcare network Note - Employment contract: appointment (art.
