Tasks

• support the Psychologists of the cantonal police and prison structures, offering specialist advice and training in the psychological field

• to coordinate, for the Psychological Service of Police, the procedures for selection and recruitment of police personnel and custody agents, regarding aspects related to psychological skills

• collaborate with the selections and internal assessments of the cantonal police and prison structures, providing technical advice and ensuring the updating of psychoactive instruments

• promote and develop skills in the psychological field, both in basic training (SCP-SAC) and in continuous and specialized training of the cantonal police and prison structures

• provide specialist support and advice to the human resources of the cantonal police and prison structures

• design and coordinate scientific research activities in the psychological and specialist field

Requirements

• complete university level education (bachelor and master or license) in psychology

• proven professional experience preferably in the field of selection, analysis and psychoactive evaluation of staff

• excellent linguistic knowledge of Italian (conversation and editing), written and spoken knowledge of a second official language (preferably of German)

• excellent knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• reliability, discretion, ease in interpersonal relationships and good trading ability

• analysis capacity and editorial ease

• availability to follow courses of professional improvement

• Swiss citizenship

• good conduct in particular must not be incompatible with the function of psychologist/s at the cantonal police

• may constitute preferential requirement:

• knowledge of the third official language

• post-grade education in the field of occupational psychology and clinical psychology

• professional experience in recruitment at the Army

Special remarks

• the function of scientific collaborator/scientist/a I (class 10) can be attributed only to candidates who have complete academic qualifications: university license, degree, Bachelor's + Master's degree or professional university (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits) and who have gained at least 15 years of professional experience in the required scope

• the function of scientific collaborator/scientist/second (class 9) will be attributed to candidates with less than 15 years of professional experience in the required field and in possession of complete academic qualifications: university license, degree, consecutive master's degree or professional university school (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits)

• the candidates who participate in the competition authorize the cantonal police to process all the data necessary for the verification of safety of good conduct and the absence of precedents incompatible with the use in Police

Terms of use

• appointment or assignment: these are those provided for by the Law on the sorting of employees of the State and teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the relevant Regulations. Any amendment of the law concerning salary and organization remains explicitly reserved

• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment ratio), flexible or according to service requirements
