We are looking for a co-direction for the school Hürstholz with a total amount of 80%

• 90% (30
• 35% Co-LB and 50
• 60% HL).

Tasks

• As Head of Supervision of the School Hürstholz, you and the job partner are responsible for the overall management of the department of Supervision at operational, pedagogical and personnel level. The amount is 34%. You also work as part of a 55% second position in the Hortleitung function
• You are responsible for personnel management incl. Recruitment of FaBe and hoard management, have budget responsibility and carry out administrative work in cooperation with school management, district school authority and administration school office
• They participate in the development and updating of the pedagogical concept of the school and implement the pedagogical mission according to the operational concept, mission statement and pedagogical concept of the school
• You are the contact person for the parents / guardians of the children
• They represent the area of care in all school-relevant topics and committees

Profile

• Graduate degree in the field of pedagogy or social pedagogy at tertiary level (technical college, higher technical school, recognised patent as primary or kindergarten teacher). For applications with a foreign diploma / certificate, a Swiss diploma recognition must be attached
• Work experience in the city of Zurich school environment. An advantage would be work experience as a hoard management
• Completed management training or readiness to complete it immediately and professional experience in supplementary school care
• Resilient, strong-leading personality with a high level of social and self-competence and a positive human image
• Safe appearance and joy in dealing with children and adults from different cultures
• Willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the school team, responsibility and flexibility as well as very good team and communication skills
• Security in organizational and administrative matters, including very good computer skills

About us

We are a large school community in Zurich-Nord with 18 schools. We derive our pedagogical attitude from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The school Hürstholz is a modern, innovative school, which is idyllic on the edge of the forest and at the same time centrally connected to the important transport lines of the city of Zurich. In addition to 12 primary classes and 4 kindergartens, the care area for all ages is also part of the school. This includes a large care facility on the school grounds as well as two external care centers. Up to 170 children are currently cared for at the school Hürstholz every day. The entire care team currently consists of 25 employees in the functions of trustee, specialist care, school assistants and 3 learners (FaBe).
