- The Institute of Clinical Neurosciences of Italian Switzerland to complete the team at the Regional Hospital of Lugano, Sonno Medicine Service seeks a/a Chief Clinical Medicine (70-100%) The Sonno Medicine Service of the Institute of Clinical Neurosciences of Italian Switzerland (INSI), a centre accredited by the Swiss Sleep Society and internationally recognized for clinical, research and training activities, unified research/a contract Activities: The location provides a total activity of 70-100%, thus divided: 70% clinical activity, 30% research activity.
- The candidate will be involved in evaluating and managing patients with all major sleep disorders, interpreting diagnostic tests and participating in clinical research projects.
- Essential Requirements: Title of specialist in Neurology, Psychiatry or Pneumology (for physicians with foreign qualifications the recognition by the Federal Commission for medical professions MEBEKO is mandatory and its registration to MedReg before the beginning of the activity );
- National or European certification in Sleep Medicine (Swiss Sleep Society, ESRS or equivalent);
- At least 2 years of experience documented in Sleep Medicine;
- Excellent knowledge of the Italian language and the English language (written and spoken), please the knowledge of another national language (French or German);
- Autonomy in the report of: Video-polysonnography (PSG), Respiratory Polygraphy (PG), Actigraphy, Objective Supervision Tests (MSLT, MWT and related tests);
- Clinical management ability of the main sleeping disorders: respiratory sleep disorders, insomnia, central ipersonnolence disorders, sleep movement disorders, parasons, circadian disorders;
