Key requirements
- Required
- University degree and 2 or more years of experience in claims or insurance OR
- Zurich certified apprenticeship programme with associate degree and 2 or more years of experience in the field of claims or insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the field of claims or insurance
- Completion of the Zurich disaster training programme and 1 year or more of experience in the field of claims or insurance AND Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of regulations, markets and insurance products
- Prior experience in auto claims management, insurance claims or a related area of customer service.
- Understanding of car insurance policies, coverage and regulations. Preferable:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in personal line car claims management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in analysis and problem solving
- Effective time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Document claims records by accurately capturing and updating data/information in accordance with best practices for low- and medium-exposure personal line claims and complexity.
- Exercising your judgment to determine responsibility by collecting and analysing relevant facts; use the applicable law; establish the basic principles of negligence.
- Exercising your judgment for the verification of policies and the determination of coverage by analyzing applicable coverage and determining whether the loss falls within the scope of coverage.
- Work on rapid claims resolution by developing a case management strategy; an assessment of the case;
