Requirements

• complete academic title (bachelor + master or license)

• professional experience in school or education in secondary sector I

• proven management, coordination or management experience

• knowledge of the Ticino and Swiss educational system, school legislation, the Ticino media school and the school’s study plan

• excellent knowledge (conversation and editing) of Italian, knowledge of German or French (conversation and editing)

• ability to exercise an authoritative and participative leadership

• organizational and resource management skills

• aptitude to overall vision and strategic dimension

• relational, communication and mediation skills

• are preferential elements, to be assessed in the overall appreciation of the application:

• Master of Arts in teaching for secondary level I, or equivalent title

• experience in the management of pedagogical, educational, organizational or development projects of the school system

• specific training in management, organisation or school management, such as GeFo diploma or training considered equivalent

Special remarks

• entry into operation: to be defined

• the degree of employment to 50% is possible only in the form of job sharing with two partial times, in this case the candidates must send an individual application indicating in the letter of presentation the intention to assume the function jointly to one other candidate(s)

Terms of use

• appointment or assignment: these are those provided for by the Law on the sorting of employees of the State and teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the relevant Regulations. Any amendment of the law concerning salary and organization remains explicitly reserved

• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment ratio), flexible or according to service requirements
