To complete our team of Hospitality Services at the Lugano Regional Hospital, we are looking for a Capo Gruppo Servizio Pasti (100%) candidate.

• Profile: The ideal candidate has a solid experience in the structured catering sector, with a professional path assimilable to that of an experienced Maître d’Hôtel. They have developed high skills in the operational management of the service, team coordination, and maintenance of high-quality standards, even in high-volume contexts. They transfer these skills to the healthcare sector, distinguishing themselves for a strong sensitivity towards the patient, understood as a person with specific needs and often in a state of fragility. They are able to combine hotel and clinical-organizational requirements, ensuring an efficient, safe, and quality-perceived meal service. The profile is completed by a strong operational leadership, organizational skills, and a problem-solving approach. Required qualifications: Hospitality/Catering training (AFC or equivalent title); Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in similar or assimilable roles (e.g. Maître d’Hôtel, restaurant manager); Proven experience in the operational management of teams
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation regulations (HACCP); Ability to organize and manage service flows
• Strong customer/patient orientation and relational sensitivity
• Excellent communication and feedback/reclamation management skills
• Ability to work in dynamic and high-operational-load contexts
• Interdisciplinary collaboration skills (with healthcare staff and other services); Availability to work on shifts. Start date: June 1, 2026 or to be agreed.
