- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certificate. Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in reconciliation, experience in the Fintech / Financial services industry will be an added advantage Skills and Competencies:
Main responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare bank reconciliation on a monthly basis or any requested duration
- Prepare/update monthly ageing report upon completing the bank reconciliation
- Follow up on the unreconciled item in bank reconciliation with the stakeholders such as branch, payment or receipting team or other related internal team
- Book-in the bank/credit card charges and bank interest into SAP on timely manner
- Maintain source files, reports, documentation and data in accordance to compliance requirements
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certificate. Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in reconciliation, experience in the Fintech / Financial services industry will be an added advantage Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Company and context
- Supporting the team for any finance projects adopted by the organization
- Preparing submission of unclaimed monies related data and managing subsequent requests relating to unclaimed monies from customers or other internal departments
- Responding to queries from other departments such as unclaimed money letter, fund confirmation, inter-fund transfers, or any other related requests
- Assist in providing supporting documents required from internal / external auditors
- Any other duty may be required that is in line with the nature of the role and level of responsibility
