# Assistant with Bachelor or Master for the Degree Course in Architecture

The Professional University School of Italian Switzerland (SUPSI) is offering a position of

Assistant with Bachelor or Master

for the

degree course in Architecture

of the Environment, Construction and Design Department (DACD) in Mendrisio. 100% occupancy rate. Entry into operation from 1 July 2026.

Scope and purpose of the position

In the 3 years of activity on the degree course in architecture, the assistant accompanies the students in their design, construction and other areas of study. Collaborates and supports teachers in their preparation, implementation and tutoring activities (revisions). Carries out administrative and management activities. Its contribution is central in assisting resources and managing disciplinary tools for basic training teaching activities. A percentage of its activity is dedicated to personal training.

Activities

In the field of training

• collaborate with teachers in the preparation of documents for basic training teaching activities, support students during the execution of exercises and projects.
• In the field of degree course activities:
• collaborate with those responsible for administrative management in the planning of six-monthly activities and in the organization of events such as the setting up of exhibitions and the preparation of conferences as part of basic training.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Architecture SUP/ETH/USI (or similar qualification) with less than 3 years of professional experience after the end of studies.
• Knowledge of the context of the SUPs is desired.
• Knowledge and interest in topics related to architectural design, construction and sustainability are desired.
• Excellent knowledge of Office programs and proven experience in using CAD programs and preferably also BIM (Revit, Archicad).
• Attitude to teamwork, with a strong orientation towards collaboration.
• Ability to work independently while respecting established deadlines.
• Availability and flexibility to achieve objectives.
• Good knowledge of the Italian language. Knowledge of a second national language and English is an advantage.
