You are interested in how a hospital works behind the scenes? In the medical device preparation unit (AEMP), we are looking for active support as technical sterilization assistants. Our wide range of medical devices become your exciting work content. The Zurich University Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees are committed to the well-being of our patients every day: inside.

Tasks

• Processing medical devices in accordance with applicable standards and internal directives
• Operation and monitoring of cleaning and disinfection equipment
• Control and packaging of the instrument screens
• Documentation of all steps in the traceability system (e.g. Insta-count)
• Compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Completed training as a specialist in medical device preparation (specialist course I)
• Experience in instrument preparation
• Careful, structured and responsible working methods
• Good German skills (minimum B1), capable of teamwork and loadable
