<p><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Support the Stewarding Manager in overseeing the stewarding operation across all hotel areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation.</p></li><li><p>Act as deputy in the absence of the Stewarding Manager, ensuring continuity of operations and consistent leadership.</p></li><li><p>Lead and coordinate the stewarding team during assigned shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.</p></li><li><p>Assist in staff scheduling and daily workforce planning to ensure effective operational coverage.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the availability and proper handling of equipment and materials for kitchens, service areas, and events.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to maintain smooth and well-coordinated operations.</p></li><li><p>Monitor stock levels of detergents and consumables, supporting cost control and avoiding shortages.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with HACCP and internal standards, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and organisation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you bring to the job</strong></p><ul><li><p>Previous supervisory experience in stewarding, cleaning operations, or a similar role within hospitality.
</p></li><li><p>Ability to lead a team during shifts, providing clear direction, support, and motivation.</p></li><li><p>Strong sense of responsibility, organisation, and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining quality and efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills in Portuguese and/or Italian and English.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable using basic computer systems (e.g.
