Would you like to use your anesthesiological experience more in pain medicine in the future? Is it important to you not only treat patients punctually, but to accompany them over a longer period of time? In this outpatient function, you look after people with acute and chronic pain. In addition to careful investigation and advice, invasive and interventional procedures are an important focus. You not only consider individual findings, but also include psychological and social factors in the treatment. The specialized facility in Upper Valais has an established allocation structure and high demand. They work closely with an experienced doctor and a well-established practice team. The cooperation is personal and at eye level. We are looking for either an already experienced pain doctor or an experienced pain doctor or a specialist from anesthesiology who would like to develop further in this area.

Their tasks

• Assessment and treatment of patients with acute and chronic pain
• Development of individual pain medicine treatment concepts
• Performing invasive and interventional procedures according to your previous experience
• Gradually expand your practical skills in interventional pain medicine
• Continuous monitoring of patients and assessment of treatment courses
• Consideration of physical, psychological and social factors in chronic pain disorders

Your Competences

• Specialist title Anesthesiology, Federal or MEBEKO recognized
• Certificate of Competence Interventional Pain Therapy SSIPM or equivalent Qualifying Benefit
• Alternatively, pronounced interest in pain medicine and willingness to develop specifically in interventional procedures
• Enjoying a practical and invasive activity
• Interest in the psychological and social connections of chronic pain diseases
• Empathic and appreciative treatment of people who have suffered from pain for years
• Independent, reliable and team-oriented working method
• Good knowledge of German
