Role overview
Duties - Manage the cleaning of the refectory, kitchen, dishes, battery, and kitchen equipment and/or distribution areas - Collaborate in the preparation and distribution of meals to users in school restaurants and administrative canteens based on the instructions of the site manager - Provide service to users and perform special tasks according to the specific needs specified by the site manager - Apply hygiene and functionality measures in accordance with the site manager's directives - In some cases, preparation of individual dishes may be required ## Requirements - Federal vocational training certificate (CFP) as a kitchen assistant is a preferred title - Proven experience in similar functions for at least 2 years - Availability to work outside normal working hours - Availability to attend additional training and professional specialization courses - Good command of the Italian language - Good conduct, considering the constant contact with minors - Category B driving license for transporting foodstuffs, depending on the needs ## Special Conditions - They may be contacted for a possible part-time/full-time or fixed-term (substitutes) or indefinite employment - The percentage of work varies according to service needs (usually less than 100%) - The activity will usually be performed during the school calendar, in some service locations the activity may cover the entire civil year - The service location will vary according to available positions (in the application form, preferences can be expressed) - Start of service: to be defined according to the needs of the School Meals and Transportation Office ## Special Observations - As this is an annual competition, with the possibility of being hired during 2026, depending on the needs of the School Meals and Transportation Office, candidates will not receive a positive or negative response.
They will only be informed about the receipt of their application - The Canton Administration reserves the right to hire candidates based on the needs of the School Meals and Transportation Office - Candidates who participated in the General Competition 2025, if still interested, must re-submit their application with all the required documentation ## Presentation of the Application Conditions - Applications must be submitted online.
Other forms of application will not be considered valid - In addition to the documents to be submitted at the time of online application (presentation letter and motivation, curriculum vitae, diplomas, certificates, and work attestations), further documentation may be requested at a later time (judicial record with related self-certification and self-certification of health status) ## Conditions of Employment - Nomination or appointment: those provided for by the Law on the Organization of State Employees and Teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation.
