Portrait The municipality of Muri near Bern with over 13,500 inhabitants is located just outside the gates of the federal capital. The Upper Level Center Seidenberg, centrally located between the districts of Muri and Gümligen, is one of six public elementary schools in the municipality.

At OSZ Seidenberg, around 50 dedicated teachers accompany about 320 pupils from class 7 to 9 in the Real, Sek and SpezSek levels (model 3a) on their way into the adult and professional world. The schoolhouse in a quiet location is easily accessible by public transport (tram 6) – a learning and working place with a high quality of life.

The school house Seidenberg with a slightly remote location for the 9th classes at Turbenweg 10 forms a school circle in itself.

Tasks

We are looking for a three-week deputy teacher for Cycle 3. The total amount comprises 16 lessons, which are spread over Monday to Friday.

Lessons take place almost exclusively in the mornings (except for an afternoon lesson on Tuesday).

The following subjects / areas are part of the timetable

• Mathematics (8th grade Spez Sek): 6 lessons (including 1 lesson IVE)
• Learning Island (7th/8th grade, including LRS): 5 lessons
• Inclusive promotion (IF in RZG, French, NT): 4 lessons
• ERG (8th grade): 1 lesson

Note: We prefer to give the entire package (16 lessons) to one person. However, it is also possible to split the amount – for example, you only take over the entire mathematics area. When you contact us, please indicate which lessons you could take.

Requirements

• Teaching diploma Sek1 desired with professional experience
• Joy and skill in dealing with young people (7th – 9th grade)
• Flexibility, reliability and independent working methods
• Preferably taking over the entire amount; at most in combination with another deputy teacher also parts possible (cf. timetable)
