Main responsibilities
- Assumption of the function of the supporting welding plan according to EN 15085-2 and ISO 3834-2 at the Bussnang site
- Production of welding quality and conformity at our steel suppliers (CL 1) as well as support for internal production in the aluminium sector
- Preparation and maintenance of welding planning documents, work instructions and project-related test and production instructions
- Support in the theoretical training of welders, plant operators and employees in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT)
- Examination of contract and production documents with regard to producibility, quality requirements, demonstration and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Welding assessment of designs and approval of drawings and production documents
- Implementation of welding audits and first article inspections (FAIs) at national and international suppliers.
