Role overview
Mission The EPFL Hydraulic Machinery Platform (PTMH ptmh.epfl.ch ) is a centre of scientific excellence in research and development of hydraulic machines, specializing in performance validation, hydrodynamics and cavitation leveraging advanced measurement techniques and state-of-the-art experimental infrastructure.
We are seeking an Operational Director who, under the guidance of the academic leadership, will lead and oversee the operations of PTMH’s experimental infrastructure.
Holding responsibility for the operational management of service contracts, the Operational Director leads an engineering team of 8 staff members, ensures operational excellence and customer satisfaction, and implements strategic direction and service innovation by aligning work practices with institutional priorities.
