• Analysis, design and development of your own range

• Negotiations with suppliers

• Responsibility for product development, optimization and quality control

• Coordination of purchasing activities and participation in purchasing strategies at national level as well as with the international purchasing organisation

• Evaluation of key figures and initiation of coordinated measures

• Market observations and analyses to identify new trends and changes in customer purchasing behaviour

• Interface management (supplier, quality assurance, goods business, marketing)

• Quantity planning

Your profile

• Completed studies (uni/FH), preferably with a business focus

• Mind. 2 years of professional experience as a buyer in the retail trade or in the food industry

• Organizational and coordination skills as well as strong analytical and communication skills

• Team player mentality, high resilience and operational readiness

• Enforcement, independence and diligence

• Possession of a valid category B driving licence

• Negotiating knowledge of German (at least level C1)

• Good knowledge of English
• Knowledge of another national language (French / Italian) is advantageous
