Role overview
Professional and disciplinary management of the interdisciplinary purchasing team "Automotive EMEA" (about 10 employees), including supplier quality and process engineers for the focus of injection moulding business with its in-house production and the Toll Manufacturing suppliers.
Overall responsibility for the material group "Automotive Business Parts" as well as its strategic development in the EMEA region incl. a close coordination with the other regions Continuous diversification and further development of the international supplier base (Toll Manufacturer, injection molding tool manufacturer and raw material supplier) Management of the purchase of in-house goods, investments (Capex) and services for the in-house production site using digital tools Implementation of ongoing risk minimization measures to ensure delivery capability to our customers Development, implementation and continuous optimization of the local and regional purchasing strategy in coordination with the global procurement strategy Close cooperation at local, regional and global level with technical areas, engineering, R&D as well as support of the sales cooperation in local, regional and global teams for the coordination and processing of customer projects as well as internal improvement initiatives and implementation of the resulting measures in the own area of responsibility travel activity of approximately 30% to support suppliers and other Sika locations
