PROFILE
- Completed university studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline.
- Several years of experience in the disciplinary management of engineering teams in a technical environment.
- Experience in the development of technical concepts and in the design and calculation of mechanical systems.
- Strong strategic and conceptual skills as well as experience in the further development of organizations, processes and roadmaps.
- High personal responsibility and the willingness to actively promote technical topics in addition to management tasks.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management capabilities at all hierarchical levels.
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary and cross-location teams.
- Very good knowledge of German (C2) and good knowledge of English (B2).
TASKS
- You are responsible for the chassis & gearbox engineering department with around 30 employees.
- You lead the department and your employees, promote their development and are responsible for recruitment, training and performance reviews.
- You ensure quality, adherence to deadlines and adherence to the engineering budget in all orders in your department.
- You plan the optimal use of your employees across various projects and ensure sustainable resource management.
- You will continuously develop processes, methods and standards and ensure their compliance, including appropriate training measures.
- You coordinate cross-location cooperation and align teams, processes and projects with common goals.
- You work closely with project management, purchasing, production and other stakeholders and successfully advance strategic initiatives.
- You report directly to the department management engineering in all chassis and transmission topics.
