PROFILE
- Master's or bachelor's degree from a university of applied sciences/university in business law with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in contract management / procurement / legal
- Proven experience in international contract negotiations and in dealing with complex industrial supply chains (e.g. rail, plant engineering)
- Professional experience in the Swiss legal system
- Assertiveness and negotiating skills at senior level
- Decisiveness and high resilience in critical situations
- Confident stakeholder management, even in escalation situations
- Ability to translate technical requirements into robust contractual structures
- Negotiation-level proficiency in German and English
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading development and implementation of contract standards and governance requirements
- Assessment and management of legal issues in the procurement environment
- Leading complex contract negotiations with international suppliers (including structuring and negotiating framework agreements with strategic suppliers)
- Analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g. CRA, Data Act) in contractual frameworks
- Translation of complex customer contract requirements into robust and scalable supplier contracts
- Holistic assurance of contractual consistency, including risk allocation and commercial optimization along the supply chain
- Cross-functional management of contractual matters with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management
- Support for claim and dispute matters with suppliers
- Working in an international, highly regulated environment of the rail vehicle industry with a direct impact on project risks, costs, and supplier performance
- Co-shaping digitalization (including the use and further development of Legal AI) and standardization of contract processes
