Do you want to help shape the strategic leadership goals and actively promote the further development of PostBus? In this diverse role, you will lead and develop your driving staff, ensure a smooth driving service and coordinate adjustments in stop and construction site management. PostBus will switch its fleet to electric drives by 2035. With your contribution and your full conviction, you make a decisive contribution to the success of this transformation.

You can do that.

• You lead, motivate and develop your driving staff, ensure a positive working environment and strengthen the performance and commitment of your team through regular one-on-one meetings and team meetings.

• You ensure that the driving service personnel resources are provided on time and in high quality. You accompany your employees throughout the entire HR lifecycle – from recruitment and introduction to individual development and exit. Even in challenging situations such as illness or failures, you support them. You always have an eye on relevant key figures such as absences, fluctuations and time balance and derive optimization measures from them.

• You are responsible for the functioning of the operation on site and ensure that it runs smoothly. If necessary, you will intervene with the control centre, your contact person in personnel planning and operational fleet management to ensure efficient and coordinated operational management.

• You plan and coordinate measures in stop and construction site management, consider diversions and stop changes, work with internal and external partners and manage the stop management system. In addition to your management tasks, you take on driving services yourself, whether it is planned or to bridge bottlenecks.

You bring that with you

• You have a completed vocational training (EFZ) and have a further education as a manager or manager with federal law. Completed a professional certificate or a comparable qualification – or are ready to complete it in the near future. Leadership experience is a plus – but not a must! What is important to us is your commitment and your willingness to develop further in leadership.

• You bring experience in infrastructure tasks (constructional, operational, procedural) and have a good understanding of security aspects in public spaces. With your communication skills, you bring people together, engage in dialogue at eye level and find viable solutions even in difficult situations.

• You are capable of conflict and always act professionally and sovereignly in negotiations and discussions with employees, superiors, representatives of PEKO and/or social partners.

• You have a category D driving licence or are ready to obtain it.

• You communicate very well orally and in writing in German and have good (oral) knowledge in a second national language.
