Technical editor (80-100%) Männedorf, Zurich Your contribution In this demanding and important role, you are responsible for the target group-oriented creation, management and maintenance of technical documents for the products manufactured at Tecan for end users, service and production employees.

- good knowledge in using DTP, illustration, and image editing tools good knowledge in using Schema ST4
Key requirements
- work experience as a Technical Writer or degree in Technical Writing
- good knowledge in using DTP, illustration, and image editing tools good knowledge in using Schema ST4
- good knowledge in using a 3D illustration software
- good level of knowledge in German and English
- ability to involve others to get the necessary information
- ability to filter relevant information and create a targeted documentation
- work experience in an international and multicultural environment
Application process
- Target group-appropriate content creation and maintenance in the XML-based CMS (Schema ST4) and in the DTP application (Adobe FrameMaker)
- Compliance and implementation of regulatory requirements
- Implementation of documentation-relevant content from risk analysis Product photography and image editing
- Creation of technical illustrations 2D and 3D data
- Creating or editing texts in English and German
- Coordinating translation orders and terminology management Your profile We are looking for people who will put their passion and talent into practice with us.
- You are a language-savvy and precise person and enjoy updating/creating different instructions.
- You have several years of professional experience as a technical editor or have a degree in technical editing including professional experience.
