The Migration Office operates daily in the exciting political environment of all migration issues. We are responsible for the permits under foreigners law, enforce the Swiss alien and asylum law, issue the biometric Swiss passports and foreigner ID cards and provide care and integration in our asylum centres.

What to expect

• You lead the area of initial integration with around eight employees from the areas of care, security and infrastructure and, as a member of the management committee, actively shape the further development of the centre.
• You take over the personnel and professional leadership of your team and promote a constructive and cross-divisional cooperation
• You ensure quality of care, employment and safety as well as compliance with conceptual and organizational requirements
• You are the contact person for employees and residents
• You coordinate employment offers, external assignments and the deployment of civilian service providers and support the integration of residents through meaningful employment offers
• You are responsible for service planning, help with budget controlling and ensure compliance with quality standards

What distinguishes you

• You have completed vocational training as well as ideally further training in the field of management, support, social services or company organization
• You preferably bring your first leadership experience and enjoy accompanying and developing employees from different professional groups
• You have organizational skills and keep an overview even in a dynamic environment
• You communicate clearly and respectfully and meet people from different cultures with openness and respect
• You act solution-oriented, are resilient and appear safely even in demanding situations
• Foreign language skills are a plus
