- Use of relaxation techniques (e.g. progressive muscle relaxation, biofeedback, MBSR)
Main responsibilities
- Professional and organisational management of the area of pain psychology Performing individual and group therapies Emphasis on behavioural therapy procedures Mediation of pain management strategies
- Use of relaxation techniques (e.g. progressive muscle relaxation, biofeedback, MBSR)
- Conduct of assessments incl. Questionnaire diagnostics
- Preparation of historical and final reports
- Presentation of the pain clinic to the outside via e.g. lectures/posters
- Close interdisciplinary cooperation (including with physiotherapy and psychiatry) Requirements
- University degree in psychology (university or technical college)
- Completed further education in recognized psychotherapy direction, preferably behavioral therapy
- Experience in pain psychology or a strong affinity to the field Experience in group therapy
- Knowledge of biofeedback and somatic medicine
