- Main duties and responsibilities Your mission will be to develop and execute strategic initiatives and research programs in EPFL AI Center and the Swiss National AI Institute, especially activities related to the SwissAI research initiative, and manage the whole lifecycle of projects.
- In the course of this, you will interact with a large number of stakeholders in- and outside EPFL, and collaborate tightly with ETHZ AI Center.
Main responsibilities
- Main duties and responsibilities Your mission will be to develop and execute strategic initiatives and research programs in EPFL AI Center and the Swiss National AI Institute, especially activities related to the SwissAI research initiative, and manage the whole lifecycle of projects.
- In the course of this, you will interact with a large number of stakeholders in- and outside EPFL, and collaborate tightly with ETHZ AI Center.
- As part of the EPFL AI Center and Swiss National AI Institute teams, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Managing projects and programs end-to-end, coordinating broadly with EPFL researchers, SwissAI Principal Investigators, local stakeholders as well as ETHZ AI Center;
- Driving related engagement with large numbers of EPFL-internal and -external stakeholders from academia, industry, and politics (among others) at in-person or virtual events;
- Developing and managing the broader SwissAI initiative program portfolio, including running Call for Proposals processes;
- Promoting the EPFL AI Center and the Swiss National AI Institute, managing our extensive partner network, and building our ecosystem in Switzerland and beyond Profile
- Degree in science (Master or Doctorate), demonstrating in-depth understanding of entrepreneurial or project management processes and solid scientific expertise, ideally in AI; Passion for the field of AI;
- At least 3 years of of relevant experience, ideally in a dynamic environment;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
