- The Medical Insurance Service (SAM) is a centre specialized in the performance of multidisciplinary, bi- and monodisciplinary medical benefits, which works in compliance with the best medical knowledge and insurance medicine, and which is responsible, under the mandate of the Disability Insurance and various insurance and/or legal institutions (pretures and courts) for the establishment of complex clinical frameworks
- The psychiatrist doctor makes available to the SAM the specific specialist skills that guarantee the processing of the part of his/her own competence of the benefits required by the invalidity insurance, as well as by various insurance and legal institutions (pretures and courts), for the purpose of ascertaining complex clinical frameworks
- assures the pad on the territory as provided by the “Regulation of guards and medical packages OSC” Requirements: Medical diploma (or equivalent title)
- the candidate not yet in possession of the authorization to free exercise in the Canton Ticino of the profession of doctor, the certificate of linguistic knowledge (Italian-B2) and, in case of foreign qualifications, the recognition issued by the Commission of medical professions Mebeko both of the diploma of doctor and the title of specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy (or equivalent title), must obtain all the requirements within the beginning as established during the selection.
Main responsibilities
- The Medical Insurance Service (SAM) is a centre specialized in the performance of multidisciplinary, bi- and monodisciplinary medical benefits, which works in compliance with the best medical knowledge and insurance medicine, and which is responsible, under the mandate of the Disability Insurance and various insurance and/or legal institutions (pretures and courts) for the establishment of complex clinical frameworks
- The psychiatrist doctor makes available to the SAM the specific specialist skills that guarantee the processing of the part of his/her own competence of the benefits required by the invalidity insurance, as well as by various insurance and legal institutions (pretures and courts), for the purpose of ascertaining complex clinical frameworks
- Consultations shall be carried out in accordance with the principles relating to the quality of expertise
- actively collaborates with other SAM specialists and any partners involved in the territory
- FMH specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy (or equivalent title) SIM Card (Swiss Insurance Medicine)
- free exercise in Canton Ticino of the profession of doctor issued by the Health Office aptitude for group work
- knowledge of the territory and the network of sociopsychiatric assistance of the Canton Ticino
- perfect mastery (conversation and editing) of the Italian language and knowledge (conversation and editing) of another official language Special remarks:
