Your tasks and perspectives

• You clean, disinfect and sterilize surgical instruments and devices for diagnosis and patient care
• You will learn how to use cleaning and disinfecting equipment (RDG) and contribute to the safety of medical interventions
• You are responsible for the control and proper functioning of the operating instruments
• You put medical devices together into sets, check, package and sterilize them with special procedures that you get to know with us
• Your work also includes the operation of various IT systems

What you bring for this job

• You have successfully completed the compulsory schooling until the start of training
• You have skillful hands and like to work extremely carefully and accurately
• You are physically resilient
• The safety of our patients and the associated hygiene and order are important to you
• Irregular working hours are no problem for you
• For work you must have no problems with color recognition

• You will complete your apprenticeship in one of the largest central sterile supplies in Europe
• The central sterile goods supply is responsible for the entire canton of St.Gallen. You can therefore look forward to a very varied working day
• You will learn about a wide variety of surgical instruments of all disciplines such as orthopaedic surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, neck-nose-ear clinic, etc.
• For the cost of your school supplies you will receive financial support
