Role overview

The Office of Informatics and Organization (AIO) is the competence center for digitisation and technology in the canton of Solothurn. It implements computer science projects, advises and supports the departments and ensures the operation and maintenance of the central IT and communication systems. We are looking for the department of technical services by immediately or by agreement at the location Solothurn a ICT system specialist, 80-100%.

• You actively contribute to the implementation and further development of our heterogeneous IT infrastructure and contribute with your expertise in system technology to the success of our IT platforms. - You assume responsibility for the basic infrastructure (storage systems and virtualization) including operation, life cycle management and automation. - The development of system integration concepts taking into account company requirements, security and sustainability is also part of your tasks as well as their subsequent implementation in the team.

• You also ensure the safe operation and monitoring of our servers and services.

• You have a degree in computer science as an EFZ, ideally with a further education (HF, FH) or have an equivalent qualification. - You require several years of practical experience in the operation and management of storage infrastructures, preferably with NetApp. Additional experience in the operation and administration of virtualization environments complete your profile. - You have been able to demonstrate several years of professional experience in system technology and a well-founded knowledge of current technologies.
