Role overview

The Legal Service of the Department of Construction and Justice (BJD) is the focal point of the division's organization. As a department of the Departmental Secretariat, the Legal Service deals with complaints against municipal decisions in construction, planning and environmental law and supports the departments and the departmental management in the law and application. We are looking for a legal service, 100%, for the Legal Service of the Department of Construction and Justice, as per 01.08.2026 or by agreement at the Solothurn site.

  • You are responsible for handling complaints against municipal regulations of construction, planning and environmental law and support the services in the application of law. - You are responsible for managing and accompanying legislative projects and are involved in the handling of government and departmental business. - The departmental head supports and advises you on legal issues and answers political questions within this framework.
  • When discussing the fundamental issues of the Community's activities, you will be involved in a political environment with a high level of legal expertise and a sense of pragmatic solutions.
  • You have a completed legal degree with a lawyer's patent or other relevant further training.
  • In construction, planning and environmental law you convince with sound expertise.
  • You have a high level of commitment and assertiveness as well as a deeper understanding of political processes.
  • A safe, thoughtful appearance, addressate-appropriate communication and excellent editorial skills distinguish you.
