The 4-star Superior Sorell Hotel Speer with its 56 rooms, the Sushi Bar, Terrace and Lobby Bar is an ideal hotel for holidaymakers and business people. It is located in the middle of the old town of Rapperswil-Jona and is only a 2-minute walk from the central station. Are you our new team member who supports us as governess: immediately or by appointment? Your area of activity:
- Ensuring cleanliness and good appearance throughout the hotel
- Finding and fulfilling guest needs and wishes
- Securing the work and operations of housekeeping
- Daily support of the housekeeping team during cleaning on the floors
- Room scheduling in cooperation with the Front Office
- Design of the hotel in the interior and exterior
- Care of all plants in the hotel
- Management of property
- Coordination of goods management from purchase to inventory based on the budget in the area of housekeeping
- Organization and implementation of the hotel’s annual basic cleaning Your strengths:
- Basic hospitality training EFZ or similar training
- 3 years of professional experience in the hotel industry
- First management experience
- Good IT knowledge in MS-Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Good oral and written knowledge of German and English
- User experience in PMS such as Protel, Fidelio or Opera
- Strategic thinking and action
