The cantonal child and adult protection authorities (KESB) ensure the well-being and protection of people in need. For KESB Thal-Gäu/Dorneck-Thierstein we are looking for a clerk at KESB, 40% by 01.11.2026 or by agreement at the Balsthal or Breitenbach location.

Your responsibility

• As an employee of the KESB law firm, you will perform all administrative tasks.
• They manage dossiers and ensure their completeness, support the firm management in the planning of meetings of the KESB, independently prepare business and orders according to the instructions of the firm management and carry out correspondence.
• In your role, you follow up the business control and ensure the proper provision of administrative structures.
• Furthermore, the counter and telephone service as well as postal shipping are among your tasks.

Your profile

• You have a commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent education.
• Professional experience in child and adult protection as well as knowledge of civil procedure or administrative law proceedings as well as administrative experience are advantageous.
• An experienced use of IT resources is required.
• You are a resilient, performance-oriented and integrity personality with a high level of social competence.
