Progress is often in the detail. In our accredited testing laboratory, we create important foundations for continuous development and optimization by examining a wide variety of raw materials as well as cold-formed and heat-treated metal parts. Would you like to contribute with your sharper eyes, your expertise and your careful work? Your Tasks:

• Planning, implementation and evaluation of material tests and metallographic investigations according to specifications
• Investigation of semi-finished and finished products from our production plants, purchased parts, competition patterns and test series with the methods and equipment available in the laboratory
• Preparation of laboratory test reports including image documentation, evaluation and archiving of results
• Implementation and documentation of maintenance and calibration work on laboratory equipment
• Cooperation in the organisation of the accredited laboratory, in inter-laboratory trials, as well as in the evaluation and procurement of new and replacement equipment
• Recognizing and stimulating corrective measures to improve quality as well as blocking non-compliant products and coordinating the further procedure with the head of laboratory QM-Manager Your profile:
• Completed apprenticeship as a physics laboratory or materials tester or comparable technical training
• Professional experience in metallography and materials testing, ideally beneficial in the metalworking industry
• Experience in general laboratory activities and in carefully documenting and evaluating test results
• Knowledge of German at native language level and good knowledge of English
• Independent, reliable and structured working method as well as a strong quality awareness
