Together with its employees, the Department of Health assumes a wide range of tasks in the field of ambulatory and inpatient health care, health promotion and prevention, health-policy tasks, control of communicable diseases, networking of decision-makers in health care, animal health and consumer protection. The Service for Care and Development actively contributes to the promotion of care development in the Canton of St.Gallen.

What to expect

• Supervision of Spitex operations and nursing homes for legally compliant business activities
• Administrative management of authorisation procedures
• Creation of operating and professional licences and OKP licences
• Support for technical projects in the field of long-term care
• Networking and cooperation with nursing specialists
• Contact person for requests from providers, municipalities and professionals

What sets it apart

• Diploma in Care (HF/FH)
• Professional experience in the field of long-term care and/or Spitex is beneficial
• Accuracy and high quality awareness as well as independent and responsible working methods
• Communicative personality with a safe appearance and high social competence
• Good IT user knowledge
• Confident knowledge of German in Word and Writing
