PROFILE

• Completed commercial training, ideally with further training in customs

• Experience in customs handling in the import and export sector

• Good knowledge of customs law and preferential agreements
• Experience in dealing with SAP GTS is an advantage

• High accuracy and a structured and independent working method • Resilient, responsible and reliable personality

• Very good German and good English skills in word and writing

TASKS

• Preparation of customs documents (export declarations and ATA carnet), movement certificates and customs instructions
• Verification of import and export declarations
• Classification of goods according to the CH, EU and UK tariff
• Collection and verification of proofs of origin (e.g. EUR.1, supplier’s declarations)
• Active cooperation with customs authorities, customs agents, suppliers and internal bodies
• Monitoring customs-related deadlines and processes
• Maintenance of customs-related master data
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements
