Immediately or by agreement, we are looking for a Dipl. Care professional HF/FH 80-100%.
Their tasks
- Caring for premature and newborns from birth, as well as infants up to about three months with medical, surgical or orthopaedic diseases on our interdisciplinary neonatological IMC and neonatology according to principles of family-oriented care
- Carry out interventions in close cooperation with the medical service, assist in interventional actions and monitor patients
- Initiation and design of patient reports, nursing discussions and interprofessional case discussions
- Documentation and implementation of the entire care process (ePPD) as well as validation of electronic patient documentation
- Recording of services using LEP®
- Active contribution to a smooth daily routine
Your profile
- Diploma as Dipl. Nurse HF or FH with a focus on pediatrics / neonatology (SRC recognition in foreign diplomas)
- Professional experience in the care of premature babies and newborns
- Continuing NDK Neonatology or existing interest to complete it

Your work area At the interdisciplinary neonatological IMC and neonatology, we care for premature babies, newborns and infants up to about three months with medical, surgical or orthopaedic diseases. Family and development-promoting care and care are our focus. With the focus on the whole family and their needs, the children and their families are actively involved in the care and care process and are supported. We care for the children and their families individually in every situation, with competence and commitment.
Together with our neonatological and pediatric intensive care unit and the obstetrics of the Women’s Hospital at the HOCH Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen, we form the Eastern Swiss Perinatal Center and provide annual care for about 400 sick premature and newborn babies, of which about 100 are born with a birth weight below 1500g. In cooperation with the Cantonal Emergency Service and REGA, we provide a 24-hour transport service, which is responsible for the collection and care of sick newborns in other clinics in the foundation area of the Eastern Swiss Children's Hospital.
As of September 2026 we move into our new building and neonatology will be merged with the neonatological IMC on a new station. Apply today and you can become a part of this team.
