- Act as Level 3 support for restaurant technologies, with a strong focus on:
- Point-of-sale (POS) systems used in restaurants
- Back-office systems used for restaurant management (e.g. inventory, reporting, configuration tools)
- Own and manage complex escalations from restaurants and support partners through to resolution
Company and context
- Experience working with external service providers or support organizations
- Technical Knowledge & Skills (Good foundation expected) Good understanding of: End-user devices and peripherals Windows environments
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.)
- Active directory fundamentals (all objects, GPO, security)
- IT service management fundamentals (incident, escalation, problem management)
- Basic scripting and system administration concepts:
- Understanding and executing PowerShell and command-line operations
- Using standard commands (e.g. service checks, system queries, device reboots)
- Familiarity with task scheduling tools (e.g. Windows Task Scheduler or similar) General awareness of:
- Security principles and endpoint protection
