Tasks

• Support the Chef de Rang in the care and service of guests in their own service area at a high level
• Participation in a smooth and professional service process in close cooperation with the team
• Professional serving of food and drinks according to the standards of the upscale gastronomy
• Assistance in preparation (Mise en Place), blanketing and maintenance of the service area
• Active implementation of the service philosophy and ensuring a friendly and courteous guest service

Requirements

• Completed training in catering desirable (e.g. EFZ restaurant specialist or comparable training)
• Relevant professional experience in upscale gastronomy, ideally in a fine dining or Michelin restaurant
• Secure appearance in guest contact as well as strong consulting competence
• Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English (other languages advantageous)
• Maintained appearance and high service orientation
• Organizational talent and responsible working methods, even under pressure
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and storage regulations in Switzerland (e.g. HACCP)
• Readiness for weekend and evening work
• Teamwork and enjoyment of working with kitchen and service
