The Buchs Sargans Vocational and Training Centre (BZBS) trains 3,000 apprentices in more than 20 professions every year and is attended by around 2,000 adults. It teaches more than 200 teachers in basic education and about 170 lecturers in full and part-time work in further education.

What to expect

• Management of the infrastructure division with six housekeepers and twenty roomkeepers at the Buchs and Sargans sites. Ensuring an orderly operation and responsible for financial planning and cost control in the area
• Planning, monitoring and monitoring of regular, professional maintenance work within the defined budget
• Participation in the design and development of the infrastructure, partly in cooperation with the cantonal building construction office. Management of own smaller conversions and procurement projects including cost control
• Responsible for external land use management
• Exercise of tasks as civil engineering security officer
• Responsible for the training of the own learner in company maintenance

What distinguishes you

• Basic technical/craft training with EFZ and many years of professional experience in technical maintenance
• Training for the Federal State. Housekeeper with FA, ideally extended with further training as head of facility management or caretaker HFP
• Designated leadership experience
• high service orientation, networked thinking, secure appearance, resilient and flexible
• Good computer science user knowledge, especially Microsoft programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft 365 / Teams)
