Tasks

• Self-responsible management of a service station and support of guests at the highest level
• Competent advice to guests on food, drinks and wines
• Ensuring a smooth service flow in close cooperation with kitchen and team
• Professional serving of food and beverages in compliance with quality standards
• Mise en Place work as well as preparation and follow-up of the service
• Responsibility for order, cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Support and guidance of Commis de Rang
• Professional handling of guest requests, feedback and complaints

Requirements

Completed training in the catering/hotel industry (desirable)

• At least 3 years of experience in upscale service or fine dining gastronomy
• Strong host personality with a high level of service orientation and a passion for cuisine
• Sound expertise in food and beverage science, ideally also in the wine sector
• Stylish, well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
• Teamwork, resilience and flexibility – even in demanding service times
• Independent, structured and responsible working methods
• Enjoy working in a team and guiding employees and learners
• Very good knowledge of German and English, other languages are advantageous
• High quality awareness and eye for detail
