Full description

• Professional, organizational and personnel management of the library incl. Responsible for budget preparation and control
• strategic and conceptual development of the library and its services as a centre for general information gathering, in particular taking into account technological developments
• Maintenance, extension and bibliographical recording of stocks as well as defining and implementing the stock policy and the subscription portfolio
• Maintaining contact with other specialist libraries, representing the Federal Administrative Court in the library association as well as active participation in specialist working groups as required
• Initiate, plan and lead projects to further develop library services
• University degree or equivalent education in library and information sciences
• Leadership experience with high social skills as well as experience in a (scientific) library is desirable
• Very good knowledge of library management system, online searches in databases and copyright
• Legal knowledge or experience in a legal library are beneficial, but not mandatory
• Main language German or French with very good active knowledge of the other language
