As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper you support the professional management of the entire housekeeping and together with the Director of Housekeeping ensure a smooth daily routine at the highest level, this also includes
- Support the Director of Housekeeping in daily operations and take over the deputy in absence
- Organize and monitor all cleaning in guest rooms and public areas
- Lead the floor supervisors in day-to-day business and ensure consistent compliance with our quality standards according to LQA, SDA and the internal ISO guidelines
- Plan and carry out department-relevant training, accompany the implementation of the content and take over the training of new employees as well as the support of the learners
- Create service and holiday plans, check the time recording in Eurotime and plan the staffing according to the occupancy and the costs incurred
- Coordinate orders, maintain processes and documents in consensus, use knowcross as a power user and ensure smooth cooperation with the adjacent areas as well as evening service
Requirements
You have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel sector and bring experience in a leading position in the housekeeping of the 4- or 5-star hotel industry. In addition, you bring with you
- Further training as a director or head of housekeeping with a Swiss certificate is advantageous
- Several years of management experience as a floor governess or in a comparable position in the upscale hotel industry
- Sound knowledge of operational housekeeping processes as well as security in dealing with Word, Excel and Outlook
- A structured, independent and responsible way of working as well as a keen eye for details
