Main responsibilities
- At UHR (maintenance rolling stock) you will have a key position in the Olten plant, with many tasks and responsibilities in order to support our customers with your full commitment.
- Together with your teammates, you will develop solutions to current challenges and implement them as a team.
- Further training is also not neglected for individual professional development.
- At the Olten plant you are currently working in two shifts from Monday to Friday between 4:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.
- You can move that.
- As a shunting specialist, you move passenger and freight train cars under the guidance of the maneuver coordinator.
- Your area of activity includes, among other things, attaching and detaching the various wagons and operating the manual switches and the signal box.
- You work in accordance with the transport service regulations and the prescribed standards of the SBB.
- Commissioning and driving multiple units and articulated trains are also part of your area of responsibility.
- You drive shunting locomotives, road-rail vehicles, carry out brake tests and ensure that they are ready to drive.

- Du zeichnest dich durch dein vernetztes Denken und Handeln, deine Belastbarkeit, deine Selbstständigkeit sowie deine Bereitschaft, Verantwortung zu übernehmen, aus.
- Ausgeprägtes Teamplay sowie eine überdurchschnittlich hohe Kunden- und Qualitätsorientierung sind weitere Attribute, die deinen Charakter gut beschreiben.
- Für die anspruchsvolle Position benötigst du eine abgeschlossene Grundausbildung EFZ, idealerweise als Logistiker:in Verkehr oder eine ähnliche Ausbildung in handwerklicher/technischer Richtung.
- Du verfügst idealerweise über eine Ausbildung und Erfahrung im Rangierdienst, verbunden mit fahrdienstlichem Begleiten gemäss BAV Ausweis VTE A40 direkt. Alternativ bist du Rangierbegleiter:in Ai40 indirekt und bringst die Bereitschaft zur Ausbildung VTE A40 direkt mit.
- Du bringst gute schriftliche und mündliche Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch mit (mindestens Niveau B2).
