Role overview
Tasks
With us, you not only design software, but also bring your personality, actively develop the department and shape the e-commerce of tomorrow. As a hands-on team lead, you will become part of a sympathetic, cross-functional product team with product managers and several T-shaped full-stack engineers. You share responsibility and develop scalable solutions with real impact for our customers: inside and central processes in the company.
- You bring curiosity, team spirit and willingness to learn and shape not only the implementation, but also architecture, quality and the question of what should be built at all.
- You work in variations of Scrum or Kanban. Engineers are also rolling up their sleeves in refinements and are actively involved in architecture and product issues.
- You expect a lot of creative leeway and the chance to shape the culture in the team and to achieve impact even across team boundaries
- At the same time, there is enough legacy, complexity and grown structures to really make a difference with resilience and a clear view and make systems step by step better.
- Several years of leadership experience in cross-functional product teams - ideally in distributed systems in e-commerce or similar domains
- Concepts such as psychological safety, OKRs, situational leadership and an open feedback culture have been effectively established in practice
- Understand yourself as a Servant Leader and actively live a growth-oriented feedback culture.
- Complex topics are addressed with perseverance and resilience and are perceived as an optimistic and motivating lighthouse even in difficult times
- Working closely with product managers, really understanding problems and thinking from a user and business perspective
