Job description For our local team of Manufacturing Engineers at the Selzach site in Switzerland, we are looking for an engineer (m/f/d) for automation projects as soon as possible. In your new role, you are primarily responsible for the introduction of software and its integration into existing automated production lines in the area of our product labels. Please note that the position is to be filled on a temporary basis.

This is what awaits you

• Head of the implementation of a new labeling software at the Selzach site including familiarisation with existing hardware, printing and inspection systems
• Development of software connection and automation in cooperation with project team and suppliers, taking into account software architecture, interfaces and system integration
• Development of technical concepts, documentation, validation of software and processes as well as development of work instructions and training of employees
• Support the Manufacturing Engineering Team in process optimization and ensuring GMP-compliant implementation
• Close cooperation and communication with interface areas, especially at the locations in Selzach, Kiel and in the global project team to coordinate process progress and best practices

This is what they bring with them.

• Completed studies in engineering or technical field (technical college or university)
• First practical experience in the manufacturing environment, ideally through professional activity or internships
• ability to independently plan and implement work packages
• Knowledge of lean methods is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of network technology, data analysis and the integration of software applications in the production environment
• Strong organisational and planning talent as well as excellent communication skills in German and English for secure cooperation in an international environment

Additional information Thanks to our flexible working time model, you have the opportunity to work from the home office one day of the week. A regular presence on site at our location in Selzach should always be given in order to build sustainable relationships and to maintain personal contact with colleagues and the departments. Due to the large number of different positions and responsibilities, Stryker often offers the options of taking on permanent employment.

Switzerland Pay Ranges

• Switzerland: CHF81,000 - CHF135,000 CHF Annual
