What to expect

• You will coach and support our line managers, employees and project managers in the Central and Northeast Switzerland region in all subject-specific H&S questions and the implementation of measures • You are regularly on site, exchange ideas with the plant managers and have an open ear for our employees “in the field”. • Together with those responsible at the locations, you carry out risk assessments and thus ensure a safe working environment • You develop, plan and coordinate actions and training to sustainably strengthen and develop our safety culture • You check whether our Group specifications, processes and national requirements (e.g. SUVA) for occupational safety and health protection are up-to-date and consistently implemented • In the event of events or accidents, you get to the bottom of things, identify the causes and work out corrective measures in the team. You then report the results in our Group tool • You are actively involved in the management and further development of our management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) in the field of gravel and concrete

• You bring your expertise to work groups at CEW level and maintain contact with industry associations and authorities

What you bring

• You have technical training and are an EKAS safety specialist, safety engineer or similar

• You know how to motivate teams and take responsibility • You are familiar with the building materials industry or a comparable industrial environment and feel comfortable between gravel and concrete mixing plant • You have a deep understanding of specific operational risks and instinctively see where we need to start to increase safety • The legal regulations and standards (work safety, health protection, environmental requirements) are your daily tools. • You bring practical experience in the implementation of projects – you not only like to design, but also accompany measures until successful completion
